ABOUT ELLY

EllyDeutch_headshotElly Deutch launched her career in professional sports marketing, working as the Marketing and New Media Manager for the first ever Women’s Professional Soccer team in Chicago, the Chicago Red Stars. Challenged with the launch of a new professional sports team in an economic downturn, Elly transformed the face of the Red Stars by creating, executing and successfully programming both traditional and new marketing strategies to help establish the team. Elly continued her work as a consultant to various U.S. Women’s National Team players throughout the World Cup, such as Megan Rapinoe, Kate Markgraf, and Jill Loyden. Afterwards, she entered the PR agency world, where she worked as a digital strategist and community manager for global and national brands such as Campbells, Degree, Kraft, Mars, Motorola, and Nestle. She built and executed various digital campaigns, sponsorships, and events with sport greats like Chad Ochocinco, Jerome Bettis, Tony Dungy, Antonio Freeman and more.

In September of 2011, Elly and her partner Daniel Shuftan started Blitz Branding, a digital sports marketing consultancy. Together Dan and Elly work on the education, strategy, and development of online brand management for athletes, sports properties, universities/colleges, and entertainment brands.

From there, Elly continued to help educate athletes, brands, and companies from across the globe develop their digital marketing strategies with eDigital. Elly now works as a full-time digital marketing and social media strategist, and also speaks at various events and conferences around the globe. Elly loves meeting new people and helping others become more educated in the digital space, so strike up a conversation here and don’t be shy.
